QBase3D
ALL IN ONE PLANNING, MONITORING AND EXPORTING SOFTWARE
Using QBase3D is the easiest way to pre-plan an aerial survey mission for Quantum Tron and Trinity UAVs.
By using QBase3D you have a full control over your photogrammetric aerial survey mission and guaranteed full coverage over the area of interest. QBase3D provides real-time information from your Tron or Trinity. It also features an instrument panel that gives you updates on the altitude, attitude, speed, heading and battery health to help you diagnose your Quantum-System UAV condition at any time.
QBase3D is equipped with a two-layer safety system which ensures the success of your mission. The first mission check is integrated within the QBase, which performs a possibility check while you plan your mission.
WHAT QBASE3D CAN DO
QBase3D software allows you to plan a photogrammetric mission in the form of an area, corridor raid or flight through the planned POI. The software through the attached radio modem (included in the price) communicates with UAV and allows you to send the planned mission. It checks the correctness of the uploaded mission and UAV efficiency on an ongoing basis.
The QBase3D software allows you to use the SRTM model and your own altitude models (e.g. from the ISOK project) for the flight planning process. SRTM altitude models are automatically downloaded from the internet.
UAV operator has a choice of predefined cameras mounted in the payload compartment and choosing the flight height (there is the option to maintain altitude above the ground – follow terrain) or pixel size and by receiving automatically updated data on wind speed and direction – the software analyzes whether the exposure time and the time between subsequent photos (depending on longitudinal coverage) are sufficient.
The software automatically optimizes the rows series and reports conflicts with the altitude model (you can import DSM from ISOK).
After submitting the mission to UAV, the integrated autopilot performs a security check to ensure that the mission can be successfully completed with available UAV resources such as battery capacity, temperature or sensor status
3D AREA PLANNING
The 3D area planning feature automatically creates flight plans in sloped and mountainous areas. It uses high resolution digital elevation data (e.g. SRTM) to create collision-free and energy-optimized trajectories for an optimal data quality result.
CORRIDOR PLANNING
The corridor planning feature creates optimized flight plans for mapping infrastructures such as: roads, railways and power lines. It optimizes the flight segments based on the terrain altitude as well as the camera
characteristics.
MISSION PLANNING
Before starting detailed mission planning, the basic parameters must be defined: The intuitive user interface allows you to choose the appropriate UAV and also the sensor used. Link loss time and aircraft speed can also be individually adjusted.
OTHER AIRCRAFTS
ADS-B data of other aircraft can now be visualized in QBase to keep the operator aware of the situation in the air. In addition, QBase performs risk and collision assessments and offers operator support to prevent collisions. These features enable BVLOS safe flights and missions in controlled airspace.
